Candle Burning Tips
Place on a heat resistant, dry surface away from anything that can catch fire, and out of reach of children, pets, and drafts.
Keep wick trimmed 1/4” – 1/2” before lighting.
Keep wax free of match pieces and wax trimmings.
Do not use damaged containers.
If the candle begins to smoke, it is an indication that the wick is too long. Blow out candle and wait for the wax to solidify before trimming the wick and relighting.
Never replace the lid to extinguish.
Discontinue burning the candle when 1/4” wax remains. Allowing the candle to burn until there is no wax will cause excessive heat, and may cause the glass to break or cause damage to the surface area where the candle is burning.
Glass containers may become hot, always burn the candle on a protected surface or coaster, and avoid moving the lit candle.
Allow the candle to liquefy to the edge before blowing it out to help prevent tunneling.
Avoid burning the candle in a draft or near excessive vibration.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
